On March 1, 2025, EduResolve Consult Limited, in collaboration with the United Karu Youth Development Foundation, organized a groundbreaking Community Engagement event in the Karu community. Themed “Building Inclusive Communities through Peace and Education,” this event brought together community leaders, educators, youth representatives, and marginalised groups to foster dialogue, inclusivity, and social cohesion.
Through engaging sessions like the Community Dialogue Circle, Panel Discussion, and Interactive Workshop, participants tackled the community’s most pressing challenges—poor school enrolment, lack of infrastructure, insufficient teacher training, and insecurity. Together, they crafted actionable solutions focused on community-led initiatives, teacher capacity building, and strengthened collaboration between schools and local leaders.
The impact was immediate and far-reaching. Stakeholders united around a shared vision for inclusive education and peacebuilding, developing concrete action plans that emphasised community involvement and sustainable change. The event fostered trust, inspired collective action, and laid the foundation for lasting development.
